Miss Jessi is now 26 years old, and lives in Adelaide, South Australia.

Despite being a self-professed "cat person", she currently lives with two Beagle x Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies, Alma Migraine and Paxton Churchill, who will be "puppies" forever. She also lives with an ugly punk, K. He is nice.

After dabbling in the music industry and then studying web design and multimedia, she somehow stumbled upon a totally different career path and is now a "serious games journalist". You can read her computer game babble on the Internode Games Network - and she is currently considering looking for similar (or different) work elsewhere.

(Gaming preferences, for the interested: DS, X360, PC, with a predilection towards casual games, old-school 8bit releases, Commodore 64 titles and text-adventures. Proud owner of a brand new Xbox 360 Elite, which has become known as the $700 casual games box (which also plays Mass Effect). Keeps meaning to learn more about the DS homebrew scene, but hasn't gotten any further than buying the chip and downloading some software. Has also been seen recently pretending to be a pirate, as well as wallowing through the odd Asian MMORPG, while commenting that "the MOO was better." Maintains that she still has no intention of playing World of Warcraft.)

She is "a writer" (despite considering herself a better editor), and has been published by Paroxysm Press (as well as touring with them for several years to Melbourne and Newcastle in addition to local spoken word events), and featured in an exhibition by The Red Room Company, which lead to performing in a room overlooking Sydney Harbour as part of the Sydney Writers Festival a little while ago.

Currently trying to eat more fruit and/or salad, while drinking many many cups of hot chocolate instead of the recommended water. Squished in puppycuddles and swamped with information ...she continues trying to find out how to fit more hours in a day, even though they'd probably end up being spent as pointlessly as the rest.

Various bits and pieces dotted around the internet illustrate her existence - there's her taste in music, the far-too-easily updated twitter, the inevitable facebork, the equally inevitable (but slightly more abandoned) myspack, and a sadly-out-of-date writing portfolio.

The contents of the recently discovered tomb of Egyptian Queen Jeshkashepnuaten II, ("living image of the jeshka", 1340-1338 BC) have baffled researchers. "We're finding, like, all this freaky stuff. A Bettie Page pinata? That's just fucked up!", reported one member of the dig team who declined to be named, "and let's not even get started on the poetry. We're finding hieroglyphs we didn't even think were in use before 800BC"
